The importance of vacuum
The air present inside the sterilization chamber in the beginning of the cycle is nor absorbed by the steam produced by autoclave due to its different physical elasticity. Consequently the air bubbles remain "cold" and do not guarantee sterilization. They have to be vented out by a vacuum pump. Fractionated vacuum is the best vacuum method. This very special system allows the expulsion of air pockets also in hollow and porous A type bodies. Andromeda Vacuum CS, Europa B 24 and Europa B xp autoclaves exploit a special double head High Vacuum pump for air, steam indication and drying cycle.
All sterilizers we sell are 220V. We strongly recommend the 220V models, as they are much more efficient, consume less energy, provide longer life, they are more reliable and reduce the stress on the equipment. Any standard 110V outlet can be converted easily to 220V by certified electrician. If you prefer not to convert the electrical outlet you can purchase an optional step up transformer/converter that plugs into 110V and outputs 220V. Price for the transformer is $135.00. |
